What is the longest you have been away from your lo?
For me I am almost done with my month long separation from my baby. I had to go on the road for my job and it feels like I've been away for forever! I miss both my husband and son so much! Luckily I have been so busy I don't have too much time to dwell or I think I would go crazy.
How long have you been away and how did you handle it?

The longest was a week for our honeymoon. It drove me crazy. Every time I heard a kid cry or laugh I automatically turned my head lol. Special time on the phone helped my anxiety a lot and knowing the girls were fine. I didn't get on the phone every day with them because it would have been harder for them but having contact with them whenever I NEEDED it was perfect.

Yeah I talked to my little guy on the phone today and nearly cried lol. He was so excited I heard him yelling I wanna talk to mommy!! When I was talking to my husband.

We got married while I was pregnant and decided to go on our honeymoon when our baby was about 9 months old. We also decided to go to a place not too far away from our hometown. We are really lucky that we have the grandparents very close to our home and grandparents who support us a lot. So after our baby turned 6 months old we slowly started given our lovely son organic formula in addition to breast feeding. We decided to give the Holle organic formula ( myorganicformula.com/collections/holle-organic-formula) a try. Especially I was very happy that he liked it a lot, because I heard so many stories where babies refused to drink formula. So after 3 I also bumped some milk, we had the formula and we went on our honeymoon for about 5 days. These 5 days seemed to be the longest days in my life so far  Anyways I also loved to time I had with my husband and I could really relax. We talked once or twice a day with my mother who took care of our son and everything worked out just perfectly. Medusa |
